A self-dedicated Waqf is where the Waqif is designated as the beneficiary of the income or usufruct of the Waqf. Upon death, the Waqf beneficiaries will be charitable purpose which shall be entitled to the income or usufruct of the Waqf. [AAOIFI Shariah Standards]
