As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

There are various and multiple pre-requisites and integrals for a Waqf to be valid. These pre-requisites and integrals relate to the following areas:

  1. The form
  2. The Waqif
  3. The Waqf asset
  4. The beneficiary

In addition to the above, the legal structure of the Waqf must align with Waqf principles and rules as much as possible.
