As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to stipulate one’s spouse as a beneficiary of the Waqf. This falls under what scholars term al-Waqf al-Ahli. Since Waqf is a voluntary action and an encouraged act of benevolence, there is much more scope in who can benefit from the Waqf.
