As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Islam has made charitable actions and deeds very flexible and accommodating to encourage people to do such actions more. Waqf is a charitable endeavour and a voluntary action which is encouraged. Shariah has left the specifics and conditions of the Waqf flexible and allowed people to structure the Waqf as they wish. (Is’aaf)
